    Default Being Sponsored

I'm getting married to my American girlfriend in Nov 2020. Is there a certain amount of money she has to make in order to sponsor me? Also does anyone know if the paper work for filing to get a green card is hard and do we need a lawyer to help out?

Thank you in advanced for your help

Yes, she needs to make 125% of the poverty level for the size household involved. If it's just the two of you, that's around $22,000 now I believe.

While you technically can do this without a lawyer, you risk the filing fees (substantial) and time if you screw something up.
