    Default mediation

    My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: Florida. What happens if workers comp lawyer don't show up to the Mitigation?

    You ask for a postponement.

    Did you talk to the lawyer earlier that day to confirm that he was going to be there or not?

    I was there and the lawyer but Workers Comp Lawyer was not there a no show. Was told the judge request 5 days to response. Then what??

    Please explain what "the Mitigation" means? Did you perhaps mean "mediation" and not "mitigation"?

    OK. You and your lawyer were there. But the lawyer for the other side wasn't.

    The "then what" question is best asked of your lawyer.
