My question involves real estate located in the State of: Washington (Cowlitz County)
We are being given a .44 acre piece of property (lake front) that was purchased back in the 1980's. It has never been developed. There are homes/neighborhood around it. There are a few things listed when I pull up the property details that I don't understand and am struggling to find information about what it means. I will list the ones in question as they are written:
Status: Red (I think this means I need to contact the county for building planning)?
Zoning: UZ (I assume this means it gets changed if we decide to build on it)?
Comp Plan: Urban
CARA Moderate: YES (I don't understand what this means)
NWI Wetlands: YES (does this have certain restrictions with it)?
Hydric Soils: YES (is this bad??)
Timber Moratorium: NO (it's full of trees, so does this mean they can be removed)?
PHS: NO (what is this? It's under 'Critical Areas')
Stormwater: NO (is this bad?)
Any info you can give me or send me looking the right direction would be very helpful! Thanks so much!
