My question involves public health law in the State of: New Hampshire. Per local Health System I have been blocked by an Ortho "knee" doc of Practice. Block has also been instituted for All Ortho docs and ER affiliated hospital if knee is injured. The reason for "blocking" me was I refused immediate surgery, (wanting a 2nd Opinion) I could walk with some pain. Their letter blocking me said , "Because we no longer have a positive therapeutic relationship." I could care less about that, however, God forbid if I were in a car accident, with knee/leg severely injured can the affiliated ER Hospital "block" me for this situation. I handled myself appropriately, just wanted a dx and did not verbally or sign an agreement for surgery thru Ortho "knee" doc. I have no plans suing or pursuing a complaint towards this Ortho "knee"doc. I just want to make sure I am covered by Law re: serious knee injuries from a car accident permitted in affiliated hospital. This is a Non-Profit Hospital. I do have full Medicare and Supplemental Insurance. I have contacted Admin to no response.
Thank For Any Advice/Suggestions. Sincerely. MeWnh
