Default Re: Sales Tax on Smart Phones More Than Local Tax?

    Hi again

I posed this inquiry to NYS, and I was told that the tax is correct, b/c "the state and local sales tax was based on a total taxable receipt of $754.44"

I guess I am missing something, so am hoping someone can explain to me how the total taxable receipt is $754.44, when the sale, prior to any taxes, was $710

    Thanks again.
