My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Texas
There is an odor of cigarette smoke coming through the vent in the master bedroom of apartment. Tenant has asthma, is allergic to cigarette smoke, and having symptoms from it. Landlord and landlord superior not responding to tenant's two requests (6/14 and 7/2) to rectify problem.
How to proceed?
Can tenant break lease and move for landlord's failure to provide a safe environment?
