My question involves police conduct in the State of: New York
Disclaimers: I am a 22-year-old male.
When I was 16 or so years old (can't remember exactly) I used the anonymous video chat site Omegle, for what many males use it for - sex chatting. I was oblivious at the time that the fact that I was 16 years old makes it quite sketchy. I chatted via video with other people my own age, and was indeed naked (as they were). Sometimes when it was people over 18, I understandably got rejected and so a few times I lied about my age and said I was 19.
My question is: Since it has occurred to me how wrong all of this is now, will the police come after me for these things I did when I was 16? I did indeed view other minors (consensually, though I have a feeling it's still wrong), and I once posed as a 19-year-old (I can't remember if I posed as a 19-year-old when communicating with minors). Also, I did (obviously) show my private parts, as a minor.
I am obsessing over this (as I tend to do when I have worries, they competely consume me). I know it was long ago but I have this strange feeling they are searching for me. Is it unlikely anything would happen after this long of a time?
