Gate/Fence Easement Notification/Access to All Parties

My question involves real estate located in the State of: CA

Greetings: I own land in Antelope Valley which has several easements for access by telecommunications companies and I would like to install a automatic fence/gate to prevent trespassing. What is common practice for achieving this? My land deed states 3 or 4 difference companies. Are their templates available to send out notifications?

Will it be a coded gate or a key card gate? You might want to go coded because you can easily provide the code to the companies that they can put into your records. It would be more difficult to provide them a key card, because where do they store that when it might not be needed for years.

Because if it is a wireless carrier then the OP likely has a ground built tower on his property with a lease agreement. He would then have contact information on the maintenance dept. He would also find it easier to get in contact with the right people who can give him this information.

If it a hardwire communication build, then he would likely have power companies to deal with as well. They would also be harder to get in contact with.

I know from experience that wireless carriers use combo locks with chains and cypher locks. But I am sure they are not limited to those.

Both type of carriers will require 24/7 emergency access...even when power is down. So, keylock or mechanical combo overrides will be required.

It is best to contact the actual companies before investing in the infrastructure that may or may not comply with the terms of the lease agreement or easement guidelines.

That's what I thought. I find it inconceivable that the OP wouldn't have mentioned that there was a cell tower on his property.

That's what I thought. I find it inconceivable that the OP wouldn't have mentioned that there was a cell tower on his property.

Do you also find it 'inconceivable' that the OP did not mention there are likely easements from power companies too, since telecom companies co-locate on power company poles?
