Court Needs Proof Any Suggestions

My question involves civil rights in the State of: New Mexico. Hello all, I recently filed for an expungement for a crime I committed in 1999 it was Aggravated battery (deadly weapon) the department of public safety Is rejecting the petition until I can show the court that no one was Seriously hurt. Any suggestions on how to show the court I ordered the police report However I’m looking on suggestions on what I can show the the court. Any suggestions that will help thank you

If the police report will show that nobody was seriously hurt that seems by far the best if not only way to do it unless you can get a statement from the person you attacked.

That would be ideal how ever I’m not sure who the victim is. I know as my self there was no injuries but that’s all I have is my statement which don’t mean a whole lot

Given the facts, as you have stated them there are no other ways that I can think of. They certainly aren't going to take your word for it.

Were there any witnesses that you are still able to contact? An impartial witness is more credible than a police report and can often offer far more details of what led up to and took place during the skirmish.

Police reports are often not even allowed into the courtroom.

Not that I can recall.this case was from 1999 a very long time ago.
