Default Especially Hoping from Cdwjava Regarding Forgetting to Signal

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: CA. letís say I didnít signal before turning and I was recorded on a phone camera or dash camera. If itís shown to police, how likely is it that Iíll get a ticket? What if itís from an off duty officer

As you have been told, the odds are slim to nil. While possible, it is not at all likely that an officer is going to submit video to the DA and ask for charges. And, even if he did, it is not at all likely that a DA will file. If I had to put a percentage to it, I'd say it's less than 5%.

So, go forth, de-stress, and follow the rules of the road and you won't have to worry about this.

Sorry dude, that was me that got you on my phone. It caught both your license plate and your face as well. I subsequently turned it over to Officer Doughnut and he will be coming to your house in the next couple of days to issue you a citation. I suggested that he get an arrest warrant because you probably won't answer the door, and in the event that you don't answer the door he can at least break the door down so it won't be a wasted trip. Good luck and let us know how many days in jail you got.

Stop figuring out how to break the law and get away with it.
