    Default Return Deposit

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Oklahoma
I rented a house from May 2015 to the end of May 2018. When we moved out my brother requested the deposit back. We used our dads address back in our hometown for the check to be sent to. It never arrived. About a month later my brother contacted the agent for the property again and she said she would look into it. We never received it. He contacted her again and she never responded. Now it is almost April of 2020. Am I still able to try and get the deposit back? Or is there a limited amount of time?

You can always try. If you're asking about the statute of limitations, a quick google search indicates it's five years, but I'm not sure why you didn't file suit when you hadn't received the deposit (less any deductions) after a few months.
