Default Is Attorney Blowing Me Off

My question involves malpractice in the state of: IL

I was referred by email from considertheconsumer.com website last year to a Florida class action attorney regarding a robo- text I received repeatedly. The attorney was responsive from December 2019 to early February 2020.

I already signed a retainer and owe nothing unless , they'd even fly me to New York to appear at the court there over the robo- text issues. He hasn't sent any updates to the case, no response when I emailed his website

Ok, so the attorney was responsive until "early February." Well, right now it is early in the morning on Feb. 13, so not even half the month is gone. This suggests to me that the lawyer has only been out of contact with with you for perhaps a week or so. That's not long at all. You are not the only client the lawyer has and the lawyer might be on vacation, out sick, traveling, in trial, or busy with any number of other things. So I suggest you chill out a bit and give him a bit more time. There may simply be nothing new to tell you at this point.
