    why don't you have fmla? i must have missed it?
    there is a guy i work with who misses time under very similar circumstances
    and hes covered by fmla

    To qualify for FMLA, ALL of the following must be true:

    1.) The employer must have 50 or more employees within a 75 mile radius of the employee's location
    2.) The employee must have worked no less than 12 months for this employer
    3.) The employee must have worked no less than 1,250 hours for this employer within the last 12 months.

    In one of his other posts the poster indicated that he was not eligible for FMLA. If I recall correctly, he had not met the 12 month burden.

    CBG would be correct in his reply; I have been with the company for just under a year. However, with being suspended now and what not, odds are even after the year, I will not make the hours req. since I was doing full time student for some of that time.
