Post Worker's Compensation Benefits - Are They Taxable

My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: California

My son received worker's compensation benefits in 2019 for an injury he sustained on his arm at work. Are any of these benefits taxable? I don't believe they are but I am not sure.

    Thanks

No, they aren't. There can be some issues if he is receiving SSI or SSDI.
