    “Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
    The frumious Bandersnatch!”
    "Where do those stairs go?"
    "They go up!"

You hear lot of people saying things like that nowadays, but when Mark47n says it, you know he really means it, so you need to listen.

    FTFY

    Also:
'bated breath' is a phrase meaning "to hold one's breath due to suspense, trepidation, or fear" -- bated being a sort of abbreviation of 'abated' (meaning to lessen in severity or amount'). Apparently the Shakespeare play The Merchant of Venice includes one of the earliest known usages of the phrase.

'baited breath' is a common misspelling and suggests that the speaker has eaten worms (eating bait resulting in 'baited breath')
