Credit for house arrest

I was told that the time I was on house arrest could not be counted as any time served prior to my sentencing. Is there anything I use to try and get this time. It was over 2 years.

Also, I am still on house arrest awaiting my appeal. Can I get this counted for since it was after sentencing.

If your "house arrest" was a condition of bond, the court probably deems you as not being in custody even if you were effectively restricted to your home.

The home monitoring was a condition issued by the judge for a lower bail amount.
