    Default Authorized signer on acct

My wife has a credit card in her name only. I am only a authorized signer. She is filing Bankrupty's and is in default on the card. My question is, am I responsible for this debt also, and are they allowed to report it to the credit reporting agencies? How do I remove it from my credit?

    Default Authorized Signer

You are probaby not responsible for the debt. However, if you were running up charges in advance of the bankruptcy, anticipating that they would be discharged, the credit card companies may seek to have your purchases excluded from the bankruptcy. It's unlikely, but it could happen.
