i forgot to mention i am proud father of an awesome 5 month old girl i dont want to miss out on her life, plus one coming soon. personally i think its ludacris that i am still being held accountable for a dumb mistake i made almost over 5 years ago, i think juvenile sex. registration should be done away with, but i understand there is some real sickos out there that need to be punished, its sad that people who actually want something out of life cant have it. and regardless what people may think or say i am a good person.

Your daughter is living with her mother and you are living with a roommate? Who is having your second child? Same woman?

I guess I just don't understand your question about a loophole. You are being charged with not changing your address when you moved. But you didn't move. What is the problem with providing evidence that in fact you did not move- same mailing address, no change in utilities, no change in employment record of address?

    You were charged with GSI-
    i think juvenile sex
? Your opinion "registration should be done away with" and thoughts like "personally i think its ludacris that i am still being held accountable for a dumb mistake" probably should be kept to yourself. You need to either prove that you didn't move and therefore did not violate your probation or have a good reason for why you didn't do what was ordered 5 years ago. I would not use the 5 month old or the one on the way as an excuse for not doing the
2 year prison sentence on the shelf
Marc Dann is very serious about sex offender registration:

Do you really think anyone on this legal forum will advise you to "run"? You might reread your post and think about how sincere you sound.

i dont know how to prove that i havent moved i never had bills in my name at the apartment except my driver insurance, i was confused on what i should do, and am terrified at the thought of doing time, also there is no way my roommate will help me by testifiying on my behalf, doesnt want to get involved, the reason why i asked if i should run and wait it out because someone said on another forum the longer you wait the less trouble you get in or something like that, i mighta misread it. yes the second is by the same woman been together for 2 years.

Have you thought about trying to get your charges exponged (sp?)
You were a minor at the time and sounds like you were charged as one as well. If you have stayed out of trouble it might be a possibility???

Sex offenders can't have their records expunged.

Anyone who believes he should have a second chance because in the OP he/she wrote that at the time the person was 16,but now the person is 21 yrs. old. Because i sounds like the law is soo ghey, and sounds like a archaic law, because people should be able to correct their behavoirs and move on with their lives.

Because isn't the motto of New Hamphire "Live Free, or Die."

Or for him/her to build a huge trebuchet.

Because why don't we bring back laws like the sumptuary Law?

Sumptuary laws (from Latin sumptuariae leges) were laws that regulated and reinforced social hierarchies and morals through restrictions on clothing, food, and luxury expenditures. They were an easy way to identify social rank and privilege, and were usually used for social discrimination. This frequently meant preventing commoners from imitating the appearance of aristocrats, and sometimes also to stigmatize disfavored groups. In the Late Middle Ages sumptuary laws were instated as a way for the nobility to cap the conspicuous consumption of the up-and-coming bourgeoisie of medieval cities.
    more here;... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sumptuary_law

Because i read that from 460-1600 AD that it was viewed as a good law.

That's great and all, but he lives in Ohio. Their motto is, "With God, all things are possible". (or "We're a bunch of NUTS!!!! (Sorry, my husband is from Ohio and a huge Buckey fan )).
