My question involves child abuse or neglect in the State of: Ohio
Were the SOLs in 2002 20 years or 12 years after age of majority in Ohio? or was that enacted after 2006. If so what were the SOLs for child sexual abuse in 2002?

From what I can see so far in my searching, the criminal statute of limitations is 20 years from the date it happened. So, if it happened in 2002 as you indicated in your other thread its time for her to get going on something by going to the police.

It's 20 years from the date the child turned 18 for sexual abuse of a child, or five years from the time DNA identification is made (even if longer).
