Since you still have a little time, I’d be inclined to contact the court to ask if you can correct the matter by paying the waiver fee, and then follow their instructions. If you later get confirmation of a correction to their records, then I would follow up by checking with the DMV to confirm no suspension is pending.
If they don’t cooperate, then get an attorney local to the court.
