    Default Debt

I have a letter from the collection agency and for some reason is not showing up on the credit report. I was wondering why? I was wondering on how to dispute the collection agency.

There is no obligation a creditor report to the credit bureaus.

to dispute the debt within the collection agency you do just that.

You did not give us your state but here is a link that will explain what you do to dispute the debt with the collection agency. The link is from NYC. If you search for your state you may find similar resources.

Despite your use of a question mark, this sentence is not a question. If you were thinking folks on this board have inside information about your personal financial situation, we don't. If you're asking us to speculate about why there's nothing on your credit report, I don't see how such speculation would be at all productive.

Umm...by phone. By mail. By whatever other means of communication you have available to you.

Assuming that's not what you actually intended to inquire about, please clarify your question.

Never give the debt collector your cell phone number. Just tell them not to call. Giving them your number and then telling them not to call sends a mixed message or one that can be misunderstood or just call the Moorcroft Group that you clarify

besides that, your “advice” is invalid anyway. You cannot issue a verbal cease and desist demand and there are no partial cease and desist demands. It’s all or nothing and it must be in writing to be legally effective

Okay, I apologize maybe because I have a bad experience with the debt collector that's why I said that.

No, you posted just so you could spam with your link. To show that you're really remorseful, remove the link.

In the meantime, I've also reported you as a spammer.

The inclusion of their name in your post is spam even if the link itself has been deleted.
