Can the President Pardon Himself

Pardon himself for what crime against the United States? I suppose that being duly elected (Republican) president that the Dems can't get past is now a crime.

I believe that the question was a generic one. In other words, can ANY president pardon themselves? Steve did not say "can THE president pardon himself?" he said "can A president pardon himself?"

Yes. Before he left office in January 2001, Bill Clinton pardoned pardoned his brother Roger.

Is it possible for a president to pardon themselves? Also, can they pardon their family members?

It's a good idea, but only for oneself. If a family member issues a belch or fart, they really should pardon themselves. It's only polite FFS!!! Except in cases of SBDs.....then it's fun to look at another with a "WTF was that?" look/stare. I call it "Ownership Deflection", commonly known as "It wasn't me.".
