Unhappy Can You Get Terminated from a Bank if You Apply for a Debt Relief Program

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Texas
I was doing great at my job and of course I made a mistake and just office politics and "women" they told me that force balancing automatic termination. Though I was told many time if you are over or short and you get audited they will just write you up for warnings. But did not happen today and I was also curious since I owe the bank Chase credit card (inherited spouse using my account) and I owe them almost 18K and I filed for Debt Relief program-- I feel they can i get that link for them letting me go because of the credit card! I was doing great with my job and after I filed for Debt Relief Programs "Chase" suddenly made it possible to find loophole to fire me! I just need peace of mind! Would that be possible for them to fire me, because of my personal credit card debt thru Chase.

In general, a private employer may legally fire an employee at any time and for any reason. The basic exceptions are as follows:

    1. Certain reasons are illegal (e.g., discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, etc.).
    2. Some employees have contracts with their employers that limit the employers' ability to fire the employees.
    3. Some employees are members of labor unions that have collective bargaining agreements with the employers that limit the employers' ability to fire employee-members of the union.

None of these seem to apply to you, so your employer likely does not need a "loophole" if it wants to fire you.
