    Answers on the Washington unemployment site are based on the Washington Administrative Code.
    This question is addressed by WAC 192-190-045.

    Quote Quoting WAC 192-190-045
    Severance pay.

    When payment for your separation from work is assigned to any period before the date of separation, it is considered severance pay. Severance pay is not deductible from benefits.
