Does the lein holder in Texas of an automobile have legal rights to the keys of a vehical if that vehical isn't under repossession. I know if you get a car loan that they have the title but they dont get the keys from the seller just the title. My question, if I haven't made it clear, is does the lein holder have to athority to request the key to my car if it is not under repossession just to have a key to it just because their the lein holder?? This is regards to a tote the note car lot and on the title it shows them as the 1st lein holder and my name as the owner..........
Thanks Adam
