I have one for civil but I don’t have one for workers comp. they don’t know workers comp. and I don’t know how they tie together or if it’s separate
This I find hard to believe. Even if that lawyer doesn't regularly do WC he could put you in touch with one that does.

I have 2-3 potential but they will take if they can take trial off calendar. Or I have to wait after trial and they will help with ppd.

I might be more open to taking it off calendar but it’s the new information
You have to let them work the case as they think it should be worked. If that means taking it off the trial calendar so be it. Because if you go to trial you are going to be slaughtered.

You're not going to find an attorney willing to work with you as long as you demand that it be done on your timetable and to your specifications. Your case as you have been describing it to us is weak at best; if you force an attorney to do things your way you are going to lose. You might lose even if you let the attorney do it as he sees fit, because it's not that great a case to begin with. But as long as you refuse to rely on the attorney's education, experience, knowledge of local court systems etc. and insist that it be done your way, on your terms and at the time you want, you're not going to find an attorney willing to play in your ball park. This is not Perry Mason; nor yet is it Matlock. Attorneys have bills and staff to pay; they do not have the luxury of taking losing cases because your cause is just. Not when you're tying their hands. Give them a free reign to deal with the laws, and the rules of evidence, and the local court system as they are and not as you want them to be, and maybe you'll have more success. But you are going to lose and lose big if you try this on your own.
