How does selling your plazma affect your SSI benefit?

Someone on SSI is allowed to have a very tiny amount of income before it effects benefits. Its very small but if you donate plasma once a month it probably will not put you over the amount.

Income over $20 a month is considered income the month it was,received in. The following month it is considered a resource. If you have more than $2,000 in resources if you are single. More than $3,000 if you are married. You are not eligible for monthly SSI benefits. Until the amount is less than the above amounts.
