The apartment where I live the intercom does not work in which I have addressed more than 3 times.
Is this a context in which people need to use the intercom to be buzzed into the building, or can people enter without using the intercom? In the former case, you have a stronger argument for its repair. Did it work when you moved in?

If there is grass in front of all of the units, that suggests that each unit has its own door and the intercom is a mere convenience.
