Hi,
I work at a school in devon, I am 19 years old and the person before me got £6.50 and hour as a teacher assistant. I am doing the same job and I am getting £5.05 an hour. Is there some sort of discrimination law that i can use against my employer, so they increase my wage? or simply threaten legal action.
I've asked for a pay review, but they havent said anything back and when i asked why i am being under paid than other adults, they dont have any come back. I am not on a contract, and TA's have a set rate of pay, due to Devon county Council, but i am clearly not on it! Can anyone help?? please respond, or email me (fordieuk@yahoo.co.uk) thanks
