    Default California Emancipation

I am considering getting emancipated....I don't have bad parents. It's just that I don't get along with anyone I live with or any of my siblings. All they do is make me feel horrible...I mean it doesn't sound that bad, but being put down doesn't feel to good. This stresses me out so bad, it's hard for me to concentrate on anything. I think it would be better for me and my family. I practically take care of myself...I'm the one who takes care of everyone else. Since I don't have my dad and my mom is always busy with school and work. It's hard being at home where no one likes me. What do you think I should do?

You can read about California emancipation here.
Quote Quoting How do I get emancipated?
There are 3 ways to get emancipated:

    1. Get married. You need permission from your parents and the court.

    2. Join the armed forces. You need permission from your parents, and the armed forces must accept you.

    3. Get a declaration of emancipation from a judge. To get a declaration of emancipation, you have to prove ALL of these things:
    • You are at least 14 years old.
    • You don't want to live with your parents. Your parents don't mind if you move out.
    • You can handle your own money.
    • You have a legal way to make money.
    • Emancipation would be good for you.

You meet the requirements as listed above.

It generally takes several months. If it happens at all. Remember, emancipation is not a right. It is a privilege that you are requesting a judge to grant you. You don't just decide to get emancipated and have it happen.
