Thanks for your response. In the bouncers' views, I was playing with myself in the stall, at least that's what I gleaned from what they were saying. What is the likelihood they file a report to the police? And if they do, what is the likelihood the police pursue this? As I said, I have a clearance, and this is very threatening to me. I wish I hadn't let the bouncer take a picture of my drivers license. If they go through the trouble of filing a report, how long would it be before I hear anything if they pursue things? I'm trying to not freak out, but this is very very unsettling.

    In order asked:

Given the fact the police were called, there may already be a report. Or the officer may have just written it off. Who knows?

Can't say but again, probably not too likely. Jerkin' the gherkin in a bathroom stall happens. Yes, I know that isn't what you were doing but I'm just saying in general, it happens. You were in the stall facing away from the door, riiiight? If not, it's good advise for next time.

You could hear something anytime between 20 minutes from now and whenever the statute of limitations for whatever they might think of charging you with runs out.

Any idea why the bouncer was even in there? Did he come in to use the bathroom, just doing rounds or did maybe someone report that they thought you were doing something inappropriate in there?

Thanks free9man. First, the officer who arrived on scene did apparently write it off as he let me go. I was in a stall and there was a slit where either a bouncer saw me or some other patron saw me in there and thought I was doing something ... At any rate, a bouncer came in it seems in response to a complaint and demanded I leave which I did. But I was still dribbling and so, despite feeling humiliated being escorted out, I went to another nearby bar to my great regret. How much effort/time or likelihood that the bar/bouncer would file a written report as opposed to just calling it in. The bouncer spoke to the officer for just a short while ... who know, may have told him he had my ID. Or he may just have told the officer what they thought happened. The officer spoke to me and let me go. I'm sitting on pins and needles! I guess it would NOT be advisable to call the police to make inquiries of sorts, but the temptation is there to resolve the uncertainties. Arghhhh...

I'm not buying your story at all. The chances of someone reporting your behavior while you were in a stall "checking your tights" is so small as to be nonexistent. Your pearl-clutching hysteria and worry about losing your clearance indicates that you weren't at all private about your privates, which is why they booted you and called the police.

What's done is done, but as long as you stay away from the bars you were bounced from, nothing is likely to come of your indiscretions.

Shadow, the reason I'm so worried about my clearance is because this is the very time period for a 5 year, background re-investigation. If something gets into some police database, it's not good. Don't know why you say "the chances of someone report your behavior ... is so small..." I don't know what someone saw if they looked in the crack between panes of the stall. If they glanced and saw me trying to get all the dribbling out, then it would look odd I suppose. In any event, I guess it's best not to call the establishment. I'm just very nervous because so much is unknown. Perhaps it's all over with, but I fear something further might occur since they have my ID. Well, thanks for taking the time to respond.

Just how many people do you know that go around peeking through the cracks of a stall? THAT'S what is so unbelievable about your tale.

In his defense, the cracks can be ridiculously large and it can be easy to accidentally see into the stall when you are at the sink if there is a mirror. My place of employment's bathrooms are like that.

You also get the chance to talk to an investigator and explain anything that might come up. Your story, again, is full of missing information and gaps.

Further, it's probably pretty clear to the cop that even if you were jerking off in the stall, that's not criminal behavior. Indecent exposure requires doing so in public and where others are present and may witness the act.

Isn’t there also a crime called indecent private exposure, which could fall under these circumstances? I’ve heard of people being charged with this in NY city park bathroom stings.
