My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California (El Monte)
Some quick background before I get to the point. A couple months ago, I received a speeding ticket in LA County. I had a mandatory court appearance at the El Monte Courthouse, in which the judge granted me traffic school. Fast forward to a couple months later where I've completed traffic school, waiting for the ticket to be closed.
When I check my ticket's status online, it reads:
"Case status: Traffic School Referral
Last Action: Conversion - Traffic School Granted Found (9/11/18)
Last Action Date: 8/31/18"
I'm curious as to what the note under "Last Action" means. I've tried both looking through LA County's court glossary and contacting the court, but no avail. As I last resort, I can try driving ~3 hours to El Monte Courthouse to ask the traffic clerk.
Though before such, is there anyone here that understands this cryptic text?
Also, is there anything else I need to do after completing traffic school online? Like, do I need to submit anything to the DMV to prevent a point on my driving record? Do I have to contact my insurance? Or is everything handled by the court?
Thanks all.
