Default Employer Not Giving Copy of H1B Approval

My H1B just got approved, but my employer is not giving me a copy of my (I-797)approval notice. I want to leave that company and transfer to another company. Is there any legal way I can obtain it?

    Regards,
    /M

The I-797 belongs to your employer, and I'm guessing that you've made your employer nervous that you intend to quit. Still, you shouldn't need a copy to transfer your H-1b, as long as it has been issued.
