Default Obligations of a Sex Offender Who Works in Another State

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas. My question is, what steps do I need to take if I'm registered in Texas, but just got a job in Colorado? I'm going to live in Colorado, but not permanently, only to work. I will still be registered in Texas.

You are going to need to explain what you are registered for in Texas and think you may have to register for in Colorado.

Given the category this was posted in, I would assume "sex offender registraiton" is what we're talking about.

If you move to work "temporarily," you're residing there even if you don't intend to stay. You will need to comply with the full range of residency requirements (taxes, drivers license and car registraiton, etc).

Colorado law requires you to register within FIVE BUSINESS DAYS of moving to the state.

You need to register in Colorado or face going back to prison for failing to register.
I'm not a lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.......
