Hello,
I am in the process of starting a site that lets students from area schools talk to eachother through a forum. Sort of like myspace but more local. A friend of mine mentioned that i can have legal ramifications if questionable content is posted on the site towards other students and that i should be even more concerned because most will be under the age of 18. I am under the assumption that as long as i have a clear user agreement that has to be accepted before the user can continue the registration, i can not be held liable for any contents posted on the site so long as i make an effort to control it. Please tell me if my assumption is wrong. At the end of this message, i will post the user agreement text.
Thanks!
_Dan
