My neighbor is claiming he owns 6 inchs of my driveway. When I bought my house, I bought the driveway with it. It is apparent that an exact boundary line cannot be determined without a costly boundary survey. The previous owner says the driveway and then some is mine. Visually it appears to be right on the line. I have lived here for 9 years, the previos owner for 12 years. It is in Massachusetts and I really don't care about the 6 inches. seems trivial, but the guys a jerk. Can I pursue adverse possession and how would I do that. What are my remedies as I don't see him being cooperative in any way. I don't want a problem if I ever sell. Thanks
