Default Parents Threatening To Call The Police Over Pot Use

I'm 17 years old and I live in Florida. My parents are threatening to call the cops on my boyfriend because they think we used to smoke pot together. Truth be told, we did and we still do but they have no idea about that. Can the police do anything? Don't you actually have to be caught with it on you or can people just throw random accusations at you?

Sorry if this question is worded strangely, I'll do my best to clarify wherever needed.

Contributing to the delinquency of a minor is a crime. Apparently your parents DO have some idea that this is happening ... or, they are psychic. The police may, or may not, be able to do anything. But, can the boyfriend fare well under police scrutiny? If he has any kind of a past he may be in trouble.

Your boyfriend had best keep a low profile until you are 18. Then you can both get popped for pot.
