Default How to Speed Up an Emancipation Court Date

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Arizona

I have filed for emancipation because My parents are constantly verbally abusing me to the point I self harm. My hearing isn't until October 4th and they made me quit my job and public school so I do online now for my senior year. My parents are constantly putting me down and I need to get out sooner than October 4th, is there anything I can do to speed up my process and court date?

Sorry, you have to work with the court's schedule. You are one of thousands that are petitioning for emancipation, most won't get it, and I'm guessing that you won't either from the conditions you describe.

Should we infer that your parents are opposing your petition? If they have not responded to your petition, has the amount of time passed such that they could be deemed to be in default?

The fact that you are self-harming is going to go a very long way to having your petition denied. It is not by any stretch of the imagination a guarantee that you will actually be emancipated. Are you in that much of a hurry to hear the judge say no?
