Default Can You Convert a General Business Corporation into a Professional Corporation

My question involves business law in the state of: New York

If you have an existing general business corporation with 1 shareholder that has 100% ownership, is it possible to register/convert/change it to a professional corporation?

You would probably have to create and register the PC, transfer assets and liabilities from the corp to the PC and then dissolve the corp.

However, considering all your prior questions about business entities, I suggest you consult an attorney.
