Question Statute of Limitations for Financial Fraud

I live in California, and would like to know what the Statue of Limitations are for financial fraud under a criminal investigation case? Also, does the USA have any extradition agreement with the country of Nicaragua in the event the "guilty" party plans on fleeing the USA to evade any criminal charges? Please advise.

The statute of limitations depends on what charge would actually be filed. You can read the statutes here.

Flight from justice can extend the limitations period, and does not stop charges from being filed.

You can find the U.S.-Nicaraguan extradition treaty here.
