What should you do if you were the victim of a domestic violence incident, but the police arrested you instead of the other person?

As was stated, without any facts to put the situation into context, there's not much we can do to try and provide you with information. Keep in mind that in a domestic violence situation in CA the police are encouraged to arrest the party that they believe to be the primary aggressor. That may not be to the person who struck first, but the person whop is primarily responsible for the incident on the whole. Facts and details matter in these instances. And, it entirely depends on what the officers see and hear at the scene.
