Why Would You Get an Early Social Security Payment

Anyone else here get a SSDI check today?

Just had one hit my bank earlier today however given my overpayment situation and nothing indicating if this is a provisional benefit or regular benefit after filing for EXR I’m not touching it until I speak with SS tomorrow.

My case worker thinks it may be an early check due to the July 4 Holiday but it doesn’t make sense to me if the 3rd doesn’t fall on a Sat or Sun.

I'm sure a lot of people received SSDI payments the other day. If it looks like a normal payment and is in the normal amount, it's reasonable to infer that it's simply your normal payment.
