Default Employer Kept Pay For Orientation Reimbursement

I was fired a week ago for something that wasn't my fault. My real concern is they kept most of my pay for orientation reimbursement. I never heard of being charged for orientation. I picked up and delivered 3 loads and drove over 2400 miles for this company and after they butchered my paycheck I was left with only 50 dollars for all that work I did. I did my job and I should be entitled to more money than that. My question is how do I go about taking them to small claims court? Also I live in IL and they're in AR which state do I go to court in?

The first thing you do is contact the Illinois Department of Labor.
