If someone is hired by the company that buys out the company they were working for, after they filled out the new application for the new company and check off "yes" too, if they had any felonies? and the new company ran a background check and hired the person anyway. Can they terminate the person 4 years later? Because they run another background check on them, and find the same thing that was from over 16 years ago in their past, plus they had seen it the first time ,they ran the background check but hired the person anyway. Can they legally do this?
