Default Injury from Artwork Falling Off of the Wall Onto a Patron

My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: Tennessee.

I was drinking my Monday morning coffee when a large Starbucks photo, glass, metal frame, came crashing down on me. My left shoulder took most of the fall. It is bruised and swollen. I went to the hospital yesterday and was referred to an ortho specialist.

Anyone know of any good personal injury lawyers they’d recommend?

Were the Starbucks employees aware and did they make a incident report of some kind? The step before lawyering up is to contact the management of the store you were in and work with them.

And this board does not do recommendations. If you think an attorney is necessary, it's up to you to do the footwork to locate one.
Don't make me quote Monty Python at you.

That's a possibility if somebody wants to see if a store will pay medical bills, or wants to try to settle a case without a lawyer. Once immediate medical needs are addressed, in many cases a person who is considering making a legal claim should speak to a lawyer before having any further contact with the possible defendant and, as it's difficult for laypersons to make that call, it actually is advisable to first consult a lawyer.

No, this is not an attorney referral service. You can contact your local Bar Association for information on attorneys who practice that type of law in your area.

Are we talking about a bump and a bruise and two Advil's for pain, or are we talking about more severe injuries that will require future surgeries and time loss of work?
I'm not a lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.......
