Default Posting Personal and Defamatory Comments on a Website

Is there anything that can be done legally if people are posting my personal information on a public website and sending defamatory comments about you along with a picture of myself that I didn't give consent to publish? If they send it to a large number of people some of whom end up taunting you, is there any legal action that can be done to stop them from doing this?

A: Yes, hire a lawyer. If it is cheap and quick, it will be $30K and three years before it gets resolved.
