Default Right to a Speedy Trial

Question, on the back of my ticket it had instructions for pleading or paying the ticket. I did what it said and sent in a letter along with a copy of the ticket, and the fine money as bail stating that i plea NOT GUILTY. I sent it registered mail and it was signed for on April 4th by the clerk of courts. I still have not recieved my new court date, and called them to ask if i was going to get a court date in the mail. She said yes. I asked if she can give me a ballpark date as to when the date will be and she said the last week of May or the first of June.
So here is my question, am i being denied a speedy trial because this is more than 45 days from when they received my not guilty plea via registered mail?? If so is this grounds for dissmissal?

    Dang.

    That IS speedy!

Lightning fast, in fact, considering the general slowness of the court system.

Seniorjudge, instead of being a troll, why not actually help someone on this website as it is intended for.

You don't come under the speedy trial act.

I once received a speeding ticket and on the back of the ticket where it had the court date, it was 33 days until court . Once I got in there , I cited our local statute regarding this and it was dismissed very quickly .
