    A question for the OP.

Are you getting interviews for jobs and then not getting them, or are you not getting interviews?

I don't get interviews period. I basically put in an application usually as a dishwasher or a bagger at a grocery store and I don't usually hear anything back from them. I honly have volunteer work experience and worked like 2 temp jobs.

Then it's about 100% certain that your record has nothing to do with it. Employers don't call for references or do background checks before they decide who to call for interviews; they just don't. It's expensive and they're not going to waste money on it before they've talked to someone. If they're going to do a reference or background check at all, it's going to be after they've seen you. It's far more likely that your problem finding a job is related to the same thing we all run into when we first start looking - the fact that you have no job experience to speak of.

It wan't a waste of time getting an exspongment.

You said that you even paid to have your criminal record checked, and it came back as, you have no criminal record. So that isn't the reason you are not getting a job. Look into other reasons that a potential employer is passing you over for someone else.

    Let's look at your appearance.
    Do you have fecal tattoos?
    Nose piercings?
Have you stretched your ear lobes with piercings?
Do you need a belt to hold your pants up so your underwear can't be seen?
Is your hair in a Mohawk, spiked or down to you ass?

    Lets look into your education.
Do you have a high school diploma or GED?
We know you have no higher schooling the high school.

    Other factors.
Do you have a driver license and your own vehicle to get to and from work?
Can you read and write proper English?

Iím not even sure what that is, but it would undoubtedly be an off putting during an interview

One more question of the OP re: job interviews.

Do you continually ask the same question of the interviewer after it has been asked and answered?

Back when I owned my restaurant one of my employees asked me to interview someone. They warned me ahead of time that she had a checkered past but that she really needed a job and they thought she would be a good worker so I agreed to talk to her. She came in literally covered with piercings all over her face. I am not talking about a pretty little nose ring and a pretty little eyebrow stud, along with the ears, I am talking about literally 50-60 pieces of hardware on her face. I am also pretty sure that she was high.

I heard her friend yelling at her after the interview about how she embarrassed her by showing up like that. "You couldn't take off the hardware for an interview"???

I actually know guys that are police officers that have a single non-violent misdemeanor arrest on their record that is expunged, and they became an officer. So I find it hard to believe that is effecting your chances greatly. Maybe it's your lack confidence in yourself that turns off employers. Also, do you check NO whem asked if you've ever been arrested? Once expunged you can check no I believe.

Absolutely, when a conviction is expunged, you can legally answer "no" to that question.
