    Submit all medical bills to your medical insurance company. If you don't have medical insurance, send the bills to your renters insurance company. I don't see why your medical bills won't be paid.
    I'm not a lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.......

    Homeowner's and renter's insurance are forms of liability insurance. If you are liable for an injury to another person, they come in to cover the claim (consistent with the terms of the policy). But they don't insure you for injury to yourself. That would be a health insurance claim.
