They dusted everything that they took from the house as far as that safes, the drugs, and all that contraband. There were none of his fingerprints on anything but that one empty baggie. They found other peoples fingerprints on the stuff but nothing on his.
Don't be surprised if the DA calls your attorney and says forget about it the case was dismissed.

Where I live in Texas the state would never pursue a case like this. The jails are way too crowded. If they have a pretty good idea that he wasn't directly involved why bother. That’s one irrational blood thirsty prosecutor. Having said this I don't think he is being honest about not being a drug user. He is probably what is referred to as a sponge. In other words, he may have been just hanging out for a free occasional line.

Did you somehow miss that he's just an innocent houseguest, visiting his brother for a few days?

Well we don't think that she will drop the case now because his attorney has pissed her off with all of the continuances and motions he has filed. She isn't get this go. She's also doing it to herself though because she has a habit of giving things to our lawyer at the last possible moment and then expecting him not to want a continuance to look it over. The judge never lets her get away with it. Shes a bitch...like you said bloodthirsty. But anyway...the lawyer filed a motion to compel the figerprint being that it is on a bag of nothing thy can't really consider it drug related...it could have been on the floor for all they know. He also filed to have the cocaine re weighed becuase they claim that the are 29.4 grams of cocaine now when they started at 67 grams. The legal limit to give him a minimum mandatory is 28grams. 1.4 grams is really miniscule. Things are looking a lot better. God willing this will all be over soon.

The weight issue reminds me of the raid on Manuel Noriega's mansion, where the authorities emerged with bag after bag of white powder that was initially announced to be cocaine. As it turned out, it was tortilla flour.

I've seen the weights change in drug cases where something seized as suspected cocaine tests to either be a different substance that is not controlled, or something innocuous (although I haven't yet had it turn out to be tortilla flour).
